I keep a scrap book of ideas for my house, because I love renovating and recycling old things into useful eclectic stuff. I often flick through my ’wish book’ and feel pleased that some of my dreams have come true.
This idea can easily be transferred to other projects, including career dreams.
A display folder, a file with plastic pockets, or even a shoe box, it doesn’t matter. Tearing out pages of relevant information from brochures, newspapers, newsletters, web-sites, or just pictures which inspire you, can help you build up a profile of your dream job (or a number of different jobs—the scope is limitless!). Scribble notes and ideas too, as this is a great way to sort out where your heart is leading you.
