Exchange Programs

exchangeAre you considering doing an exchange program in the future?  AND… have you discovered my Exchange Program page? No?  Seriously?

Exchanges take time to plan, so, not matter what Year level you are in, I recommend you begin NOW!

Gap Year…?

So, what’s the difference between a Gap Year and an Exchange Program?

Exchange programs are usually an extension of your schooling; you study abroad for 3 to 12 months. Exchange takes place during high school or university, and your study is credited (usually) to you in your home country.

A Gap Year is more about working/volunteering in another State/Territory or country.

‘Gap-ers’ are taking time out of studying (or work) to experience something new and exciting. They develop the same kind of employable skills as ‘exchangers’.

Of course, my Gap Year page is awaiting your perusal. If you find a web-site or want to contribute your ideas to this page, feel free to leave a comment.
