There are two circumstances that I can think of when a quickie is necessary (quickie resume that is!).
You can rock up to an employer with a very short resume if:
- you are in a lower year level at school and do not have a great deal of detail to include on your resume.
- an employer wants to give you work experience or a part-time job, but first, they want to see a resume TODAY or TOMORROW.
Whilst quickie resumes are convenient and less time consuming, they are way less satisfying than longer resumes and not necessarily a raging success with most employers. Keep this in mind on your dash to complete this one-page document.
